SJ3 vs. XP

There have been some reports of compability problems with running SJ3 on a Windows XP operating system. On some XP systems - not all - SJ3 fails to receive keyboard input while running in full screen mode. In order to find out what type of system causes the problem, I would need your assistance a little bit.

So far I haven't found a common ground for the XP systems that fail to run SJ3, but gladly we have MSinfo32 - Microsoft System Information tool. So I'm trying to gather as much information as possible on various XP systems to try to pin-point the problem. So if you are using Windows XP and whether SJ3 works on your computer or not, please follow the next few steps.

1. Open your command prompt (Start -> Run -> type "cmd" in Open: field and press Enter)

2. Type "msinfo32 /report myinfo.txt" and press Enter. If the program name is not recognized you will have to change directory ("cd") to \Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Msinfo and try again. The program lists your system details into a text file called myinfo.txt, it will take a while to show up, take your time.

3. Send an email to: vkononen@cc.hut.fi and attach the created myinfo.txt file. Write in your message how SJ3 works on your system.

4. That's it. I'll use the info you send to try to work out what is the single reason causing the problem.
