At last the first Clarkkent single "In My Arms" has been released! Even on the first week it was played on major radio channels for example Yle-X and NRJ. Clarkkent debut album in 2009

Clarkkent has signed a record deal with Helsinki based Sonic Kitchen production team (Sunrise Avenue etc.). The debut album will be produced during 2008 and released right after the christmas, in early 2009. The team behind the project is internationally experienced. Music will be produced by Jukka Backlund assisted by Aku Sinivalo and Tony Kimpimäki and the general stuff and deals will be operated by Samu Haber. The album will be released first in Finland by Bonnier Music Group.

Clarkkent has also signed a deal with Live Nation, the biggest live agent in the north.

Hey. A few things happening on the gig front; first of all, the Blanket record release party date was moved a day forward, so now it's happening on the 11th of April. Also, Clark Kent will be playing with Smokesuit in Liberté on April 18th and on June 27th they'll play On The Rocks with Blanket and Happiness. Hope you can come over and check CK live! - webman

Hi. We have a few new pictures of Clark Kent is action at the recent Liberté gig at http://www.mikkoaaltonen.net/pics/ck/gallery1/. Clark Kent will also be playing at Blanket's record release party in Semifinal on April 10th 2007. As you might know, Jaakko recorded and produced Blanket's upcoming album and every member of Clark Kent helped out somehow. Kusti played the trumpet on one song and Pikkis co-produced a number of tracks and played guitar on one and also a small drum sample from Jupe was used. - webmaster

Whoa, how time flies. Sorry for the lack of updates on these pages. This doesn't mean the guys haven't been busy. So far, Clark Kent has recorded six basic tracks of which three songs are totally finished with vocals and all. They will probably use these three songs to go out and try to find a fine record label ready to help the band out in getting a full album length of songs together. We're sure someone will recognize the talent. They have been working with Jonas Olsson, who has been an website at http://www.jonasolsson.net/. We'll try to keep you guys better informed on how things progress from now on. That'll will be our New Year's resolution! Of course, making a mind-blowingly great rock album is the number one priority, but we'll try to update the pages more in the future. There's also a new design on the way, so stay tuned. Hi everybody; here's Clark Kent's situational update: currently the band is taking a break from gigs and focusing on writing awesome new songs. This is partly due to the fact that Kusti's other band, Kwan, is releasing a new album in March. The next live shows are going to happen sometime in the summer, but no dates have yet been confirmed. Based on the quality of the new stuff demoed, good things are surely coming CK's way.

Meanwhile; Jaakko is recording and producing Blanket's first album with Pikkis also helping out. Mr. Pikkis is also recording an EP for a band called Panda, so stay tuned for those ones too. Later. -webhomeboyee

Hey, happy new year everybody! Some cool new CK updates; first of all we added some new pics from the past tour supporting the Rasmus to the Pics page. Check if you can find yourself in the audience. Secondly, Jaakko agreed to unveil some of his lyrics sheets, some words can be found thru the MP3 page. Thirdly, in less cool news, due to high demand the Clark Kent "In My Arms" EP is out of stock at the moment, we'll try to get new ones manufactured as soon as possible. Sorry about that. The year 2006 should be an active one for Clark Kent as all kinds of cool new twists are being prepared in total radio silence. We'll inform you in due time. Even though we haven't been updating the these pages or playing shows too much, we've been really busy. We've got a bunch of great rocking new songs and can't wait to get to play them live @ Semifinal at the end of this month! Playing live is what we enjoy most but our main priority at the moment is to get a record done and to get it to you guys as soon as possible. Ok; there's a point not to make any promises before you're 100% sure you can live up to them. A good share of promised Clark Kent releases, videos and events haven't yet materialized due to all kinds of reasons. Sorry, guys; but we need to keep in mind that all this internet hype is still secondary as Clark Kent has been rocking in full with super gigs around Finland which still is What It's All About. Hope you've checked them out live and continue to do so. In happenings; Clark Kent is negotiating some sort of recording deal with a more real firm (as compared to IFC), we'll you posted as this slow process evolves. Meanwhile; Clark Kent has left the Rocktops Promotion Agency and will continue to sell their gigs on their own with Pikkis Aaltonen responsible for booking the CK magic we all love. Stay with us. Well, we certainly subscribe to the old truth that art is never a competition. Meanwhile, Clark Kent rocked the hell out of the LiveTalent final with great support from loyal fans, but the panel of "experts" still saw that the finn-rock band "Nemo" had more commercial potential and chose them as the winner of the competition. Congratulations to the winners who will be continuing under the great vision and know-how of the Sony Music Finland organization. Clark Kent has a bunch of material on the verge of release; all kinds of exciting turns and twists are up ahead. Stay tuned. - web caretaker
